How-To Delete Google History

Best bet is this:
 clear browser cache,
 clear browser memory,
 then clear recorded history.
Do this periodically tho...;
or, ensure that “Web History” is turned Off.

`cause it'll start right back up everytime you start your browser,
and, sign back into any google account.

Any web account for that matter.

But, at least google lets you get rid of it from its active server.
But, not from any server archives.

How To do this:
You MUST KNOW your Google -/- gmail account
    UserName and, PassWord for this!

This is for Chrome and Google accounts only!
 For any other browsers using Google accounts;
..just clear your browser cache. and, then go here

Remove any extraneous or non-google extensions.
  [chrome://extensions/]
Just click "TrashCan" icon on the right-side of the extension description.

Non-Google Extensions i would recommend:
 "Avast! Online Security" [https://www.avast.com/]

 "HTTPS Everywhere" [https://www.eff.org/Https-everywhere]

  "uBlock Origin" [https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock]

  "Disconnect" [https://disconnect.me/]

Along with whichever Cloud app one uses....
    e.g. MEGA(.co.nz; or, .nz), Cloud.mail.ru, OneDrive, etc.

Check installed Search Engines
[i use only Google, and, a custom Wikipedia.org search

  Plain UnOfficial Google Search
   [https://www.google.com/search?q=%s]

  Wikipedia English
   [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=%s&go=Go]
    Note: You can use "http://www."
the "http://en." will change to your system language code as needed.

 Also, if you are using..
 "Disconnect.Me"
you may want to keep it.

Now, Clear current browser data,
if you know how to get there, do this now.
 or,
    use the following address:
 [chrome://settings/clearBrowserData]

  change:
 "Obliterate the following items from"
   to:
 "the beginning of time"
Make sure that PASSWORDS is NOT; i repeat NOT checked!
Make sure that PASSWORDS is NOT; i repeat NOT checked!

Now, select what you want to disappear
"Autofill form data" is up to you..;
   i leave it unchecked

  e.g.
          Browsing history
          Download history
Cookies and other site and plugin data
          Cached images and files
            Passwords
            Autofill form data
          Hosted app data
          Content licenses

Then, click "Clear browsing data"
wait about 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

Turn off local web history
Now go to your content settings:
  [chrome://settings/content]
    under "Cookies" select
"Keep local data only until you quit your browser"

Close browser
wait about 30 seconds to a minute.
you will be signed out of all of "Google"
   (G+, Gmail, and, YouTube)

Reopen browser
 ..then go to:
 Google History Server
  [https://history.google.com/history/]
you will be prompted to sign back in again. do so.
In the Upper Right corner of the page is an icon of a gear.
Click the little down arrow just to right of it.
    Click "Remove Items"
In the dialog that appears change the drop down box for
      "Remove items from"
        to:
       "the beginning of time"

Close browser
wait about 30 seconds to a minute.

This process will ensure the probability that there should be no existing "tracking cookies"
 or "active document elements"
that might be able to read the data while you are doing this...

Also, using Chrome's “Incognito” mode may help to eliminate
some of the “web crap” you might pick up along the way.
  (Ctrl+Shift+N)
    More info here:

Chrome Reset
[chrome://settings]
 [Advanced]
scroll to bottom of page where you'll find
    "Show advanced settings..."

Again, scroll to bottom of page where you'll now
 find the "Reset Settings" button.

you will be signed out of all of "Google".
you will have to re-"enable" all your extensions after doing this.
 [chrome://extensions/]

Also NOTE:
All this; only clears "Google recorded search history",
NOT; the histories kept by other sites which, you may, or, may not have visited.
(as in the case of "third-party cookies"; So make sure your browser doesn't accept those. Also, Search engines, Extensions, and, Plugins, (aka:Add-Ons) will track your web activities to some extent.)

Hope this helps to confuse you a little less.

6 Day battle with new crapware site...

Well this happened...
about a week ago noticed chrome was getting all sluggish.. not really new, alarming, or even, worrysome... or, so i thought.
So, curiosity got the best of me thinkin':
"Ol' Google's done it again.. So, now what?"

Well, after checking a HUGE nstat log and getting a Network Block notice from the big VF....
I did some digging swapped a few VPNs tried a few new proxies...
But, the fishy smell prevailed...

Seems it was defacing sites i visited..
And, after a thorough scouring of system, caches, and old hooks.
I realized it really wasn't just me.
(every once in a great while it really ain't just me)

It seems something from "adsfreak[dot]com" was calling home intermittently around every 2-10 mins.
So very similar to "supernet[dot]io" crapware sites and apps...

So, i started blocking every aspect that was associated with this [DOT]com.

Soon, i discovered most of the IPs' associated with this crap was less than a week old; and, being routed via proxies thru the known IPs'.

Now, Chrome and the net is all running like it should; and back to
being "almost zippy like...."

So..
    block adsfreak.com from running:
              javascript
              HTML5
              Flash
              setting cookies

uBlock is a good choice for this; and, keeping updated too.
But do make sure your using:
"Anti-Adblock Killer | Reek" in the "3rd Party filters" tab.

Disconnect from all networks
clean your caches and reset your browsers
reboot and again
clean your caches and reset your browsers.

'cause it will even follow you thru a locked-down TOR...

Hopefully, Malwarebytes.Org is on this already...

But, then again; i know...

 i'm an idiot!

If you gotta ask....

Was asked:
"Can you teach me how to hack?"

   My answer was:
          "Learn a new language.."

Some asked:
           "What are you hacking?"

   My Answer was:
           "My brain..."

The smart ones asked:
"What programming language would you use?"

   My Answer was:
           "um, this one...."

Some said:
          "Thats crazy!"

..........
   "...
      ...
         yup, i sure am...."

Blogs and Forums

I was asked why i don't post more in forums that i read,
and my answer?
Because most forums; in their attempt to slow down spam, and, viral content, have added way too many steps to verification.

i do understand the concept of captcha, and, layered login protection;
and, their inherent failings..

like adding more personal info to keep your personal info safe.

if you cannot see the reason why this is a bad idea then,
i will have a hard time to explain it better.

it's like adding water to an oil fire,
 ..usually just spreads it further...

And, besides all that;
I just, do not have the attention span to comply with all the:

 login/re-login-verify-login/re-login

...

So, if you have a question email, or, comment.

..i just might answer it..
or, at the least point you in the direction to find it.
...

Linux and SU access

Copy and Paste the following to a new text file:

#!/bin/sh
# Super User Execute
# Gives PkExec current environmental variables
#  and passes current parameters thru running shells to it.
#
# Use this file instead of gksu, gksudo, and, pkexe.
# /usr/bin/suxe

pkexec env DISPLAY=$DISPLAY XAUTHORITY=$XAUTHORITY $1 $2 $3 $4 $5 $6

save it as "~/suxe" then open a terminal

and enter the following:

sudo cp ~/suxe /usr/bin/suxe

then enter:

su chmod -x /usr/bin/suxe

on some distros you may need to:
use the exact syntax of your homefolder
instead of "~/":
e.g.
sudo cp /home/your-user-name/suxe /usr/bin/suxe

cd /usr/bin
su chmod -x ./suxe

this trick works good for Thunar custom actions.

Paypal

Paypal...
what can i say?
...is it reliable?
...is it  secure?
...is it useful?

well, I'll tell you what:

Consider This:
The Paypal button you see showing up on this blog now was started in 2004
with a $1.00 U.S.D. balance.
It was originally placed on a site that had an average of 3000+ visits per day.

What Year is it now?

Guess what?
...balance has remained the same...

So..to quote David Byrne
(or whomever):
"...Same as it ever was..."

Now, i know no one will ever click on it.
And, i don't really want anyone to; either.
...'cause then it would just mess up the whole "meme" of this thing...

it's just 'nother thang'....

Dust barely remembers any of us.

Linux: Wine, and, PlayOnLinux. 32Bit and 64Bit

sorta like anything else it can be done..
just need to pay in the currency of attention...
...so basically, just another currency i'm lacking... ;/

i use an 64-Bit Ubuntu distro with Gnome, KDE, Xfce4, and a "few other" desk-/apps/environments installed; no, i don't use Unity, or, Compiz tho... those 2 are way out of my league ....

Also Note as with everything else
Remember even tho Google is nosy as hell it can still be your friend.

Any Who here's my notes:

Install Wine and all it's dependencies first:

sudo apt-get install build-essential

sudo apt-get install automake

sudo apt-get install checkinstall

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install -y wine1.7 winetricks

i installed both 32 and 64 bit packages
i keep them all in separate installs.
~/.wine
~/.wine_32
~/.wine_64

when making links remember to point to the install you want
e.g.
32Bit
env WINEPREFIX=/home/USERNAME/.wine32 WINEARCH=win32  wine %f

64Bit
env WINEPREFIX=/home/USERNAME/.wine64 WINEARCH=win64 wine64 %f

if copying this remember to point to YOUR directories!
Don't forget to choose the correct Prefix in Winetricks!

PlayOnLinux:

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys E0F72778C4676186

sudo wget https://deb.playonlinux.com/playonlinux_trusty.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/playonlinux.list

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install playonlinux

i only use PlayOnLinux as a disposable windows app install.
if, it works okay in PlayOnLinux, and, doesn't show signs of CrapWare;
i'll install permanently in wine architecture.

Linux Quick Help & Tips

Run these in a Terminal, in this order; to fix broken packages/system:
  sudo apt-get autoclean
  sudo apt-get autoremove
  sudo apt-get clean
  sudo apt-get update
  sudo apt-get upgrade
  sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
  sudo apt-get dselect-upgrade
  sudo apt-get -f install
  sudo dpkg --configure -a
  sudo apt-get check
  sudo dpkg -C

Set your OpenSSL Security:
   openssl dhparam -out dhparams.pem 2048

Get that list of files at the address' in "get-list":
  wget -c -i get-list.txt

Stitch split-files back together (7zip file example):
  cat file7z.001 file7z.002 >> full.7z
 Note:
Achive Manager does this automagically to extract files
as long as all pieces are in the same folder.

Setup Ubuntu to Build(Add Repository, then Install):
 Add Ubuntu Make Repository:
  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-desktop/ubuntu-make

Update and Install Make in one command:
  sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install ubuntu-make

Use same syntax to update and install other dependancies
(don't use the quotes; "packagename" is example):
  sudo apt-get install "packagename"

Distro specific Packages can be found here:
  https://packages.ubuntu.com/
  https://packages.debian.org
  https://packages.slackware.com/
  https://www.archlinux.org/packages/
  https://packages.gentoo.org/

Mirror:
 https://distro.ibiblio.org/

If all else fails try this:
(don't use the quotes; "searchterm" is example)
  https://www.google.com/search?q="searchterm"

Keywords hint for "searchterm":
"would most likely be error you are seeing....."

Google likes to be talked to, or, asked; in plain language too.
e.g.
   What is the color blue?

For those who question

I do not hack sites.
I might do whats termed "hack" to apps and programs.

'cause,..
I'll download that app,..
...rip it apart,..
...glue it back together,..
...toss it in the trash,..
...then,..
...maybe,..
I'll post hints about what i found.
That's my share, my contribution.

I do not profit from this..
I LEARN from this.

..does a "bricklayer" charge admission to watch them work?
..do you need:
a license to see how that "box" you were given is built?
to buy that song your brain has been infected with(involuntarily memorized) from the radio/tv?

Internet Privacy

*See Secure Coding

Secure coding

First and Foremost...
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS: "Secure Coding"

Remember these 2 rules:
1.) You make it.. Somebody IS gonna break it. (See rule 2)

2.) The best security is Obfuscation. (See rule 1)

Now, you should see why there is no such thing as secure coding...

JavaScript (and all its' relatives...)
is only secure when it is locked to read-only mode.
 Usually by password/encryptor key value.
OK, Now read the 2 rules ..again...

RE: Obfuscation/Obfuscate
making the message confusing, willfully ambiguous, or harder to understand.
to confuse, bewilder, or stupefy.

..just my thoughts and observations of the crapware i see....
